Counseling for Substance Abuse and Addiction- PCC513

A course which addresses substance abuse and addiction in clients.  
Provides a Christian approach to counseling the people in our society
who are afflicted with this destructive and life threatening behavioral
disorder.

To identify maladaptive patterns occurring in substance-disordered families.

To understand the functions of addiction within the family system.

To describe effective interventions for altering and restructuring maladaptive

Five informative case studies clearly illustrate the approach that is used.
