The Shreveport Alumni Chapter has started a project to raise money to purchase new computers for the LBU computer Lab.  The goal is $4,000.00.  So far $1,293.71 has been raised.  If you would like to help call the office of Institutional Advancement at 318.686.2360.

LBU has appointed Dr. Mike Landry as Mission Director. Dr. Landry has pastored in Louisiana and Texas. He has also served 2 terms as Missionary to Romania. He currently pastors Baptist Tabernacle, Shreveport. His responsibilities include:

               1. Give greater direction to mission program.
               2. Recruit and train new missionaries.
               3. To expand on-campus mission classes and help conduct more seminars and module classes.
               4. Help make graduate work more available to missionaries on the field.
